The FileMaker platform is our tool of choice for most of our custom apps. This is because its low code development lends itself to quick turnaround and an iterative development process. You get to use what’s being built, while it’s being built. The FileMaker platform, by Claris International, has expanded its capabilities not only within the context of an extremely well-connected desktop app, but also as custom iOS apps, and rapid web implementations. In addition to the commercial and open source soSIMPLE tools that we built in-house, we are also build custom web apps using the latest web browser technology. Sometimes it’s simpler to build that tool that you need directly on the web, instead of using FileMaker or WordPress. Sometimes, these tools are used to enhance or add capabilities to your FileMaker or WordPress software.
