We develop software that runs your business.

At Paradise Partners, Inc., we see ourselves as partners in your success. The custom software we develop helps our clients keep track of projects, manage time, staff and resources, stay connected to progress and each other, evaluate and present meaningful information, provide a central organized repository for documents and communication, and ultimately highlight what’s important to run your business.

When a new customer comes to us, we offer far more than pay-by-the-hour development. We offer years of insight and experience. We’ll ask you the questions that will help you build a custom app that will ultimately help your business thrive.

1

Big Picture Goals

Start with the big picture. What are you ultimately trying to accomplish with the software you’re building? Are you trying to save time? Improve communication? Organize information? And to what end? Do you want to improve efficiency of our organization? Generate more sales? Free up time for key performers?
2

Break down

Once you know “why” you’re building your software, you can start breaking down the requirements of the software. For example, a requirement might be to provide an easy way for your on-the-ground crew to access critical documents during production. Or it might be for management to have a clearer birds-eye-view of how much time is being spent on different types of work. This list is not exclusive – write down every requirement of the software you will ultimately build.
3

Prioritize

Now you’re ready to order your list from the most important to least important. You might find that many of the items are dependent on other requirements. Sequence them all as best as you can. Then pick the top 1-3 that you think are achievable in a first round of development.
4

Itemize

Break it down again. Take a look at the requirements you picked as most important, and break down what it needs to do and what it might look like. Ultimately, what are the requirements for these requirements?
5

Development

Building what you’re looking for is now not only much easier since you know what you’re looking for. It will also be more effective since you built it around the goals of your organization. The first round, we’ve only built a small piece of what you’re after – this is called “iterative” development. You want to start using this as soon as it’s feasible, get feedback from your team, make course corrections, then go through the process again, always keeping an eye on your big picture goal. At Paradise Partners, we’ve helped many clients develop the perfect software for their organization. We’d love the opportunity to discuss you’re Big Picture. Contact us now.
